Emmaus receives over $1 million in in-kind gifts each year. We rely on donations of food, personal care items, diapers and more to meet our clients’ needs. Click here to see what we really need right now:
Donate to Emmaus
Donations can be dropped off at 101 Winter St., Haverhill, MA 01830 during the following hours:
Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Please note: Donation drop-offs are only accepted during these designated hours. We will be closed in observance of Patriots’ Day on April 20th.

Thank you for supporting Emmaus and helping individuals and families facing homelessness rebuild their lives. Your generosity makes a meaningful difference in our community year-round.
Emmaus will be closed on select holidays and donations will not be accepted on those dates. We encourage donors to check back regularly or contact us to confirm availability before planning a drop-off around holidays.
We appreciate any donation of items from our wish list you are able to make. Currently, we are in most in need of spices, condiments, cooking oil, jelly and cream of chicken.
We are grateful for your understanding as we focus on items that best meet the needs of our clients. At this time, Emmaus accepts new, unused items only, based on current needs. Due to space, safety and program limitations, Emmaus cannot accept:
- Used clothing
- Furniture
- Electronics
- Expired items
- Items that are broken, damaged or incomplete
If you are looking to donate items we cannot accept, we encourage you to consider other local organizations that may be able to help, such as Ruth’s House, which accepts a wider range of clothing and household goods.
