The holiday season is a time for giving, gratitude and coming together, and at Emmaus, the 2025 holiday campaign truly embodied that spirit. Through a series of special events, initiatives and collaborations, Emmaus embodied the theme of ‘Hope Lives at Home’ and bring comfort, cheer and support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
The campaign kicked off with #GivingTuesday, a global day of generosity that inspired supporters to make a meaningful impact. Thanks to the generosity of donors, Emmaus was able to raise over $83,000 on this singular day and provide essential resources, holiday gifts and hope to those who need it most during the season. The outpour of community support is a reminder that small acts of kindness can create lasting change.
A highlight of the campaign was the annual Santa Photoshoot, where children and families had the chance to capture joyful moments with Santa Claus. For many families, it was an opportunity to experience the magic of the holidays in a safe, welcoming environment. This is something that can be hard to come by for those facing housing instability.
Throughout the season, Emmaus also coordinated with organized food and gift drives, expanded volunteer opportunities and hosted holiday celebrations that reflected our commitment to both care and community. Honda Subaru hosted our annual Tree of Love, and gave patrons an opportunity to learn about Emmaus’ work and supported our efforts through the Share the Love campaign. From providing warm meals to distributing holiday gifts purchased from our Target registry, every initiative provided by our donors and supporters helped bring hope and reassurance to families during a time that can be especially challenging.
Emmaus is deeply grateful to all community partners who made the 2025 holiday campaign a success. Together, we shared joy, strengthened connections and reminded every family that they are seen, valued and supported, as well as surpassed our fundraising goal. This campaign has set the stage for a hopeful and impactful year ahead for Emmaus and the communities we serve.
